ABC Uses Platform to Distort Corn

The folks over at Good Morning America called yesterday seeking a statement from the National Corn Growers Association on the sham film “King Corn.”

They said they were looking for balance. Hmmmmm. We’ve heard that before, Corn Commentarians.

Sadly, it was no surprise to us that when we offered a an on-camera spokesperson, they turned us down. After all, the segment is very short, they said. And, sadly, it was no surprised when GMA aired its piece this morning without our statement. Oh, but wait. It’s there on their web site. Never mind the millions of viewers who tuned in via the tube and were given a one-sided, distorted story.
