Great comments Marcia, I will take a "grain fed" steak any day.
Australia is even offering grain fed beef now and has a much better taste than their grass fed. As for the safety of our US food supply, consumers should have no doubts about how safe their food is. If anyone does their homework and research they will find just how safe and regulated food produced in the United States really is. You made many good points in your article but the best one was the preference of the deer when given the choice in the wild. Corn wins! Keep up the good work.

Why then are there countries that will not buy American beef? We don't test for mad cow disease like we should and anyone who has studied this disease knows that it has in incubation period of up to 30 years. We will not even begin to see the ravages of this disease for a long time and the fact that the USDA doesn't do thorough testing is criminal!
